a 94 tracker sno-fighter
I hated this car. It was our parts runner at one time. Not fun to drive, smokey, and knocked above 2900 rpm. THEN we made it a snowplow. The hydraulics from the original job were pretty leaky so they just got replaced with an electric winch. Wouldn’t think so, but a used up chevy tracker makes a good plow. just don’t drill a curb with the blade unless you have your own frame machine. It didn’t owe anyone anything before life as a plow, and has 11 abusive winters as a lot plow. I guess that makes it a good car.

Those things can take some abuse. A buddy had one when we were like 16-17. He used to go to parking lots in the winter and get up to about 30mph and go straight into the piles of snow they’d build up from the plows. Thing would go 10-15ft in the air and slam down and just keep driving. He broke the seat in half on some dirt bike woops. And then the tranny eventually failed, probably because I don’t think it was ever subjected to anything less than full throttle.

It was replaced by a 3/4 ton chev plow. don’t know what happened to that one. It just won’t die. Blade came off a 54 cj2 that got restored.

very great actually. it’s 1500 lbs, so it’s heavy enough to keep on pushing through the snowbank.
way better than my Suzuki Vinson 500
Only thing that would make it even better is tracks
